Pag’s climate is typically Mediterranean, with warm summers and mild winters. The beautiful season on the island runs from the end of April to the end of October, although the best months for swimming are obviously June, July and August, which are also when air and sea temperatures reach their annual maximums – ideal for spending whole days lying on the beach, relaxing.
There is little rainfall on the island of Pag, and it is mostly concentrated during the winter season, which means that if you have chosen Pag as the destination for your next summer holiday, you are almost certainly guaranteed to find sunny days and warm, but still pleasant temperatures. On the other hand, during this season the tourist influx reaches its peak, so you will find more crowds and generally higher prices.
At the end of the tourist season, autumn begins, which brings with it a good number of rainy days. Finally, in winter, the temperature never drops too much, although snowfalls have been recorded several times, especially during the month of January.
The hottest months of the year in Weather Pag are August and July, when the monthly average temperature reaches 31 °C, while the coldest months of January and February the thermometer drops up to 1 °C.
