Split Airport (SPU) is one of the most important airports in Croatia.

About 25 kilometres from the centre of Split, the airport is located near the towns of Kastela and Resnik, on the Adriatic coast.

Like the other Croatian airports, Split airport is experiencing a marked increase in traffic, especially during the summer season. It serves as a hub for Croatia Airlines, which provides flights to European cities such as London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Rome and Paris.
